58. Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker
Join Us at the “58. Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker”
From March 12 to 14, 2025, the “58. Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker” will take place in the historic town of Weimar. Recognized as one of the most important European events in catalysis, the conference covers a wide spectrum of topics, from fundamental research and catalyst design to reaction engineering and industrial applications. Over 400 experts from universities, research institutions, and industry gather annually to share their research, exchange ideas, and discuss the latest developments in the field.
The event aims to showcase state-of-the-art research and innovation, providing a platform for young scientists to present their findings, engage with academic and industrial peers, and expand their professional networks. Highlights include renowned plenary speakers from academia and industry, poster workshops, and an industrial exhibition, all complementing the scientific program.
NFDI4Cat Workshop: “Catalysis Meets Digital Innovation – Exploring Data Spaces with NFDI4Cat”
We are pleased to announce that NFDI4Cat will host a dedicated hands-on workshop as part of the conference. The workshop will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 3:20 PM to 4:20 PM at the Seminarhaus, Congress Centrum Weimarhalle, followed by a coffee break and networking opportunity.
This workshop is aimed at researchers, industry professionals, and stakeholders in the field of catalysis who are looking to improve their Research Data Management (RDM) strategies and utilize digital tools for sustainable innovation. Participants will gain practical insights into the effective management and use of research data, supported by scientifically relevant use cases.
Workshop Program Highlights:
- Repo4Cat – The NFDI4Cat Repository
Introduction to this powerful platform for storing, sharing, and accessing high-quality research data, accompanied by a hands-on demonstration.
Speakers: Michael Liebau and Volodymyr Kushnarenko - Use Cases in Catalysis Research
Presentation of three practical use cases developed in collaboration with industry partners.
Speakers: Prof. Dr. Stephan A. Schunk and Dr. Mohammad Khatamirad
The workshop will conclude with an open discussion, giving participants the opportunity to share their experiences and explore potential collaborations.
